The digital world is changing and profoundly altering corporate IT organizations. In order to be able to react to the rapid development, conventional operating models must be tilted and new strategies and techniques developed. This is the only way for companies to remain competitive in the long term. Questioning existing application architectures is a logical step in this modernization process. One possible answer to this rapid development is the architectural transformation towards an agile, modern service landscape based on microservices.
